Boeing 787 Dreamliner Business Class – For my first long-haul flight since the outbreak, I wanted to do a full review of our flight from Toronto to Santiago, Chile on Air Canada’s Boeing 787-9 in Signature Suite Business Class.

As I said in my previous article, now is the time to travel. My partner and I, after triple waxing and recent recovery, decided it was time to start our first long trip. After looking at countries and cities where I could have a convenient office to work in, I chose Santiago, Chile. It ticks a lot of boxes: dry heat, long days, relative safety, similar weather, and cheap/hotel cash points. Even better, Air Canada flies directly to Santiago from Toronto.

Air Canada operates AC92 flights from Toronto to Santiago three times a week, departing Toronto at 10:55 p.m. and arriving in Santiago at 10:15 a.m. (11:15 p.m. DST) tomorrow. Transportation is provided by Boeing 787-9 with 298 seats, 30 of which are in business class and 21 in premium economy.

If I were to book a flight in business class with this service, a direct match could be found for a reasonable ~$1240 (I wrote this a month ago and the flight plane up $140 each way, I think there will be a situation with all options), or just a few days before.

That said, it is a respectable method (thanks to the mining companies in Chile and the heavy mining used in the TSX) and it sells commercial units. If you can find tickets, they are usually around $5,000 round trip.

Instead I booked my flight using Air Canada Aeroplan. Easily accessible to Canadians, this program has eliminated the pesky reward fees that plagued the program in the past in 2020. Although I was able to find a table for 56.9k Aeroplan points language and less than $ 60 (which is about 4 CPP, not bad!), the new change of Aeroplan is seats in business class can cost up to $ 200,000 one way.

Also, because of these unexpected fees, I have approximately 70,000 United Mileage Plus miles in my account that I spent on Air Canada flights before the new program started. I decided to book another seat using 69,000 miles to collect my miles. While changing with different currencies is nice, United usually doesn’t have much of a choice for me.

Although many people do not like Pearson Airport, I think it is a stable airport. It was pretty quiet during the night flight and Air Canada’s private business check-in meant we could check our luggage for the flight.

After going through the main security we went to the Air Canada International Maple Leaf Lounge. I’ve done indoor inspections in Ottawa and Toronto, so I won’t bother with one more, but don’t expect too much. There are a few appetizers on offer such as cookies and burritos, as well as a few hot dishes that I haven’t tried yet.

It was empty as our flight closed after we boarded, but this resort can get busy. There is a bar with several beers, including Guinness, as well as a selection of nachos for snacks. After about an hour in the lounge, we got the message that our plane had landed.

We flew to Santiago with the Air Canada 787-9 Dreamliner. The cruise started on time from Zone 1. I sat in my seat, 3G, and settled in. I must be the only one with a backpack in business class.

I also received a pack of Wish Les Essentials when I sat down. Vitruvian products are expanding because the Vancouver company has important skin care products. What I like is the cool glasses, beautiful, unique, “Canadian” touch.

I put most of my stuff in a small cup with a USB charger, headphones, and a Canadian/European power plug.

The seat is the same as on my flight to Vancouver (at least my camera has improved) so I won’t spend too much time on it but it’s a good seat but a bit narrow for 1.82 inch man like me.

I also visited the bathroom, which was not “working”. The entire flight was as dirty as the bathroom in business class.

Review: United Airlines 787 9 Business Class

Although I have to say, it always feels like home when I fly with Air Canada. He is a domestic carrier and I am happy to hear English, French and a third language when flying to places or flying from one place to another. But I would describe the flight attendants as doing a very good job. They get what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. However, they are not as exciting or “dragon” as West Jet would be.

I chose the beef tenderloin, which was served on a plate with a lid, about 45 minutes after removal.

Honestly, the food is good. I can say that my flight to Vancouver at the end of the month was the best. Because they are paid, they are not paid. This flight was in early March on the same airline. While I’m disappointed that the bread isn’t warm yet, it’s probably going to be good going forward.

The whole night passed without incident, after dinner I slept for more than 6 hours. When we got to Santiago, the flight attendants made me breakfast with sweet pancake and “fruit.”

I am happy to say that the first time we went to Santiago over the Andes, we were able to fly directly with the Air Canada Dreamliner in the Signature Suite. Arriving at Santiago airport with a very strict test is better than a direct flight.

Was it a “wow” experience, no, but a great product with friendly, Canadian service. If you are traveling from Toronto to South America, I would not hesitate to fly with Air Canada again.

Right. However, as I have just flown in business class for the first time in the American Airlines 787-9, I can’t think of anything wrong with it. Think about this.

I have to say that this particular experience was short and not the kind of service you expect from a long international flight. However, the seating position is the same, and that is what this review will focus on.

However, I managed to get a very low price on a meeting in business class on a flight from Los Angeles to Dallas last February. No, the Boeing 787 does not make frequent flights on this route. And yes, they sold it as “first class” instead of “business class”.

But it seems to me that this is more of a global product. And I like it very much, thank you very much.

Flight Review: Air Canada (787 9) Business Class From Tokyo To Toronto

My American Airlines 787-9 Business Class flight started deep in Los Angeles International Airport. I’ve made a lot of airline review videos since then and I think I’m running out of ideas to start a LAX video. So, I apologize in advance for any pain you may have felt in the first few minutes of this review:

Creativity in filmmaking also requires finding music that is fun and exciting. As always, Epidemic Sound helped me come up with some cool stuff for it – cool enough to make it a little more … er …

As previously mentioned, this flight originated in the underground tunnel between Terminals 5 and 6 at LAX. I just got off a 25-minute United Express flight from San Diego and used the aisle in the terminal (so I didn’t have to go through security again).

There’s no other way to start this review of the American Airlines 787-9 Business Class than by asking a simple question: Do you *want* a lie-flat business class seat in an international Boeing 787 on a short flight from Los Angeles? From Angel to Dallas?

I guess the answer is no but I need to try it first to be sure. You know. “

I haven’t had a chance to look at the hotel in my life as a flight reviewer and need to get as much information as possible before this flight. Lounge access, on the other hand, usually doesn’t come with a domestic first class ticket, so I probably didn’t get in.

If you’re interested, you can check out my reviews of the other 4 American Airlines lounges.
