As I’ve noted in various reviews of Singapore Airlines’ regional business class product, the 1-2-1 cabin layout makes it ideal for solo travelers who don’t want to sit next to strangers. NowCathay Pacific offers a similar product on the same route, but the latter option has been showing signs of age in recent years.
Without going into too much detail (I’ve already done a lot of research), business class seats on Singapore Airlines’ 787-10s, as well as some A350-900s, offer “60 seats” and 30″ seat width. 787-10 1-2- Layout 1 has 36 seats and if you are traveling solo, both seats A and K are best. After the meal, I grabbed a glass of champagne and the staff were as usual very nice and obliging in refilling the glass. With the recent outbreak of covid-19, many people have decided to cut back on personal travel, although I personally believe that most cities are still safe to travel to (with special precautions for flying).
