Logitech Mx Master 3 Review

Logitech MX Master is an excellent office mouse. It is very well built and has an ergonomic shape for the right hand. It connects wirelessly to a USB receiver or via Bluetooth, and you can connect it to up to three devices. It has a gesture button on the thumb rest and an additional scroll wheel on the left. Unfortunately, this mouse is quite tall and bulky, so those with small hands probably won’t be able to use it comfortably with either grip. However, it works very well for larger palmed or clawed hands. It also has a very small CPI range, a very low maximum polling rate that can’t be changed, and only a decent click delay that might not seem too responsive for gaming, though it shouldn’t be a problem for everyday tasks.

The Logitech MX Master is exceptional for office use. It is very well built and has an ergonomic right hand shape that is good for palm or claw grip. However, people with small hands probably won’t be able to use the mouse with any gusto, as it’s tall and bulky. It connects to a USB receiver or via Bluetooth wirelessly, and there are plenty of buttons that can be programmed using the accompanying Windows and macOS compatible software. It also has a main scroll wheel that unlocks automatically or manually for free scrolling and a side secondary wheel for horizontal scrolling.

Logitech MX Master is average for FPS games. It’s hard, most players probably don’t find the click delay sensitive enough and have a very low voting rate. On the other hand, it’s very well built and has a comfortable ergonomic shape that works well for palm or claw grip. However, it is only suitable for people with large hands.

The Logitech MX Master is good for MMO gaming, but it doesn’t have as many buttons as a dedicated MMO mouse. It has a very low polling rate and the click delay is adequate. That said, it’s very well built and has an ergonomic shape that’s comfortable in the palm and claws and should be comfortable for extended play. However, it is only suitable for large hands.

The Logitech MX Master Wireless we tested is the meteorite/black version, but it’s also available in navy blue. You can see our unit label here.

The Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse is Logitech’s first entry in the Master line, which now includes two updated versions, the Logitech MX Master 2S and MX Master 3. However, these later versions focus on software improvements, longer battery life, and better sensor performance. . the original remains the exceptional choice for performance. However, its bulky shape and size may not suit everyone.

Logitech MX Master and Logitech MX Master 3 are exceptional office mice that belong to the same series. The Master 3 is the second updated version of the original, with more premium scroll wheels, relocated side buttons, an improved sensor and an advertised longer battery life. It has a lower minimum CPI, a much higher maximum CPI, and a set CPI that can be adjusted in 50 steps compared to the original’s 200.

Logitech MX Master and Logitech MX Master 2S are excellent office mice from the same line. Master 2S is an updated version with an improved sensor. It has a lower minimum CPI, a much higher maximum CPI, and a set CPI that can be adjusted in 50 steps compared to the original’s 200. Unfortunately, it still has a very low fixed polling rate of 125Hz. The 2S also claims significantly longer battery life, but that’s not what we’re testing.

The Logitech MX Master and the Apple Magic Mouse 2 are wireless mice with very different design philosophies. The Logitech is a much larger and heavier office mouse that is only suitable for large hands. It also has many other programmable buttons and two physical scroll wheels. You can use it wirelessly with a USB receiver or via Bluetooth. The Apple, on the other hand, is a decent office mouse, but it’s much smaller and lighter, so it’s a good choice for travel. It has a gesture scroll wheel and is suitable for hands of all sizes, but only with a finger. Unfortunately, it only connects via Bluetooth and has no setup software.

The Logitech MX Master is a great high-end office mouse, and the Logitech M720 Triathlon is a great mid-range office mouse. The MX Master has a wider CPI range and you can set the CPI in increments of 200. It also has an additional scroll wheel on the left side and charges via a micro-USB cable. It’s larger and should be more comfortable for most people, but it’s only suitable for larger hands with any grip. The Triathlon, on the other hand, has a fixed CPI, but is smaller, lighter, and has an extra side button. It’s better for travel because it’s less bulky and has a place to store the USB receiver. It also uses a single AA battery for power and is very well suited for small to medium hands with any type of grip. However, those with large or very large hands may not be able to use the palm or claws.

The Logitech G602 is the best mouse for gaming and the Logitech MX Master for the office. The MX Master connects via a USB or Bluetooth receiver and has a micro USB cable for charging. It also has a scroll wheel that unlocks for free scrolling and L/R tilt buttons. In comparison, the G602 connects only via a USB receiver and uses two AA batteries. It also has much better latency, more side buttons, a wider CPI range, and a higher polling rate. Both mice are best suited for the palm or claws of almost all hand sizes.

Logitech MX Master 3 and Logitech MX Master are performance mice from the same series. The MX Master 3S is much newer and has several improvements, including an updated sensor, better button layout, quieter clicks, and longer battery life. The MX Master 3S also has a USB-C charging cable and uses Logitech’s new BOLT USB receiver. The MX Master, on the other hand, has an older micro-USB charging cable and uses the previous generation Logitech Unifying receiver.

The Logitech MX Master is a great regular office mouse, and the Logitech M570 is a very good trackball office mouse. MX Master connects to your USB or Bluetooth receiver. It has a thumb rest with gesture button, adjustable CPI, a scroll wheel with L/R tilt buttons that also unlocks for free scrolling, and newer software compatible with macOS. In comparison, the M570 only connects wirelessly to a USB receiver, although it has memory when not in use. Both mice fit almost all hand sizes, using either the claw or the palm.

If you are interested in an office mouse with a similar shape and level of comfort, but with a trackball, pay attention to the Logitech ERGO M575.
