Katherine A. Sanderson is the Polar Family Professor of Psychology at Amherst College. She received her BA in Psychology from Stanford University, majoring in Health and Development, and her MA and Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University.

Kathryn Dowdell is a professor of psychology at Des Moines Regional College in Iowa, where she teaches courses in introductory psychology, abnormal psychology, life expectancy, and social psychology. He currently serves as the District Behavioral Sciences Chair. Dowdell earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Dowdell’s experience as an instructor spans nearly 30 years and includes a variety of creative techniques and innovative strategies. Dowdell began working as a Wiley Faculty Network Mentor in 2007 with Karen Huffman and the Wiley Psychology Group. In this role, he taught and mentored faculty in best practices and the use of technology in instruction. He has given numerous online presentations and live workshops on student engagement and experiential learning techniques, and published an instructor’s field guide to online learning. As a user for ten years, Dowdell worked as a consultant on development from functionality to video content.
